Cell phone ownership is measured at 79 percent, but that figure may well be higher because of use of combination devices like Blackberries, PDAs and phones with instant messaging capabilities, cameras, and email access, the article reports. Ownership of MP3 players has jumped to 53 percent in 2006 from 35 percent in 2005.
