Blogging in med school

What's it really like at the University of Michigan Medical School? At each level of the program students are blogging  to provide an inside look at their medical school lives. "I am at turns terrified and excited by third year," writes Jason Cheng. "I do admit to starting on a pretty cushy schedule on inpatient medicine, with Thursdays completely off. Like the rest of my classmates, however, I will be taking histories and performing physicals on patients, sometimes being the first caretaker to see them. I've got enough clothes to make my laundry schedule work. I'll find out how my new dress shoes feel at the end of a long day. I've got most of the books I think I need and no idea how to find the time or energy to study them."
